With some Honda's, you'll use our Find Your Model tool to search for your vehicle and you'll get suggested two different adapters. The decision on which one to choose (since we don't get to physically inspect the drain ports of every one of the thousands of cars we fit for) is yours, since you can physically see what's going on under there.
The reason for this is, well, Honda has some stuff going on around their drain ports. Some look like this and require the long (ADL) adapter to install our 1st gen valves, but will install an SX valve without the use of an adapter:
If the recess is not as deep as the photo above, then you might be able to get away with the shorter (ADP) adapter to install one of our valves.
While others have obstructions on the right side of the drain port, like this:
When the drain port looks like this, no adapter we offer will help you install one of our valves. The only solution is to install an SX valve upside down, like this:
